The awards were presented on October 22, 2025, in Detroit, Michigan.
The award specifically acknowledges the team’s work on the ANSI/AGMA 6011-K25 Specification for High-Speed Helical Gear Units, a key standard supporting performance, safety, and quality across the defense and industrial sectors.
Two experts from RENK Group, Alexander William Minton and Dietmar Sterns, were personally honored for their technical expertise and contributions. In addition, RENK America in Muskegon, Michigan, and RENK America Marine and Industry (formerly Cincinnati Gearing Systems) in Cincinnati, Ohio, were recognized as well for their roles in advancing gear manufacturing standards. Cincinnati Gearing Systems co-founded AGMA in 1917, and RENK America Marine and Industry continues to support and participate in AGMA.
