RENK Vertikallager Typ V
RENK Vertikallager der Baureihe V werden vorzugsweise in langsam bis mittelschnell laufenden Maschinen vertikaler Bauart, wie Pumpen, Gebläse, Turbinen oder Elektromaschinen eingesetzt. VT-Lager werden als kombinierte Druck- und Führungslager mit Radial- und Axialteil, VG-Lager als reine radiale Führungslager geliefert.
Wesentliche Merkmale der VT-Lager sind die kippbeweglichen runden RENK RD-Gleitschuhe. Diese werden über Tellerfedern abgestützt und gewährleisten dadurch eine gleichmäßige axiale Lastverteilung. Das Radialteil hat die Funktion eines Führungslagers. Im Bedarfsfall kann anstelle der kreiszylindrischen Schale eine Vierkeilschale eingesetzt werden. Diese Schale hat eine stabilisierende Wirkung auf die radial gering oder unbelastete Welle.
Abhängig von den jeweiligen Betriebsbedingungen werden die VT-/VG-Lager mit natürlicher Kühlung, externer Schmierstoffversorgung oder integrierten Wasserkühlern betrieben. Durch die Verwendung eines Ventilators erweitert sich der Einsatzbereich der natürlichen Kühlung auf höhere Drehzahlen. Bei externer Schmierstoffversorgung wird das Gehäuse mit einer Überlaufkammer versehen, die stets so viel Schmierstoff im Lager hält, wie für einen kurzzeitigen Notbetrieb bis zum Stillstand der Anlage notwendig ist.

Depending on the respective operating conditions, the vertical bearings are operated with natural cooling, external lubrication, or integrated water coolers. Using a fan expands the range in which natural cooling can be used to include higher speeds. If there is an external lubricant system, the housing is equipped with an overflow chamber that always contains enough lubricant for short-term emergency operation until the machine is shut down.
