In 1975, RENK acquired the slide bearing and coupling product divisions of the traditional Hanover-based company Eisenwerk Wülfel. Since then, RENK has been developing, manufacturing and selling slide bearings and couplings for all industrial sectors at the Hanover plant. In the field of slide bearings, RENK's Hanover plant has been the market leader for many years and offers both standard series and custom-made products. In the couplings sector, the plant develops and produces flexible couplings and special couplings.

Additional assembly and distribution centers in North and South America as well as in Asia guarantee proximity to current sales and future procurement markets. At the location Hanover, RENK currently employs more than 330 people. The commitment there is emblematic of RENK's close ties to Lower Saxony as a business and science location.

RENK's Hanover plant also includes the RENK Corporation in Duncan, USA, and the Brazilian subsidiary COFICAL RENK Mancais do Brasil Ltda.
