We test and certify that the selected equipment constitutes a complete propulsion system as a result of the integration and thereby fulfills the requirements set out in the system specifications.
We ensure that the necessary interfaces between the individual components in the propulsion system, and between the components and the ship, are fully taken into account.
We make sure that the performance of individual components is not restricted as a result of the system integration and the onboard installation, and that the system can operate flawlessly as a whole.
In order to guarantee that these goals are also achieved, the individual engineering tasks are distributed between those responsible for the ship’s construction, the integrator, and the suppliers of the main components in the propulsion system, according to their areas of expertise.
