Augsburg, April 01, 2026 – RENK Group AG, a leading supplier of propulsion solutions for the military sector, has received an order to supply a NATO member state with HSWL 295 tank transmissions. The total order volume is approximately €157 million, and comprises transmissions along with a comprehensive training and spare part package. Deliveries are scheduled to start in the third quarter of 2026 and continue until 2033.
“The HSWL 295 is a proven and precise solution for modern combat vehicles that is reliable under extreme conditions”, said Michael Masur, CEO Vehicle Mobility Solutions at RENK Group AG. “The underlying battle tank program also gives us access to other international markets and underscores the growing importance of our business in the NATO environment.”
HSWL 295 transmissions are intended for use in modern heavy combat vehicles and are characterized by their high power density, compact design and robust operational capability.
The project is part of a long-term procurement program. It will help to strengthen the order base in the Vehicle Mobility Solutions segment for the long term, and represents an investment in the RENK Group’s strategic focus on significantly increasing the share of defense business in total revenue by 2030.
