Augsburg, March 5, 2026 – RENK Group AG, a leading provider of propulsion solutions for the military and civilian sectors, is preparing for a change of leadership in the Supervisory Board. Dr. Klaus Richter (61) is to be proposed for election to the Supervisory Board at the Annual General Meeting on June 10, 2026. If he is elected, it is intended that Dr. Richter will take over as Chairman of the Supervisory Board. He will thus succeed Claus von Hermann, who is stepping down from his position at his own request as of the end of the upcoming Annual General Meeting.
Claus von Hermann has been the Chairman of the Supervisory Board since the company was transformed into a stock corporation in 2023. His term of office was marked in particular by the successful listing on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange in 2024. The Supervisory Board would like to thank Claus von Hermann expressly for his extraordinary commitment and significant contribution to the transformation of the RENK Group into a listed company.
His designated successor Dr. Klaus Richter is an experienced industry manager with over 30 years of extensive expertise in the defense, aerospace, and automotive sectors. He was President of the Executive Board of the Diehl Group until 2024. Previously, from 2007 to 2019, he held senior positions in the Airbus Group, including Chief Procurement Officer and Chairman of the Management Board of Airbus Operations GmbH in Germany. From 2017 to 2019, Dr. Klaus Richter was President of the German Aerospace Industries Association (BDLI).
