Muskegon, Michigan, June 26, 2026 – RENK America has been awarded a 5-year follow-on IDIQ production contract by the Army Contracting Command – Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) for the HMPT 800 transmission. This is the fourth award in a series of multi-year contracts and has a potential maximum value of up to $691 million USD over the next 5 years. RENK America has proudly delivered more than 4,500 transmissions since the THOR partnership began, supporting the growth and sustainment of the U.S. Army’s medium tracked vehicle fleet.

The company’s HMPT transmission has supported vehicles like the Bradley Fighting Vehicle (BFV) for decades, as well as the U.S. Army’s newest vehicle platform, the Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle (AMPV), delivering the reliability and performance required in demanding operational environments.
