Augsburg, April 23, 2025 – RENK Magnet-Motor GmbH, a company of RENK Group AG, a leading supplier of propulsion solutions for the military and civilian sectors, will intensify collaboration with the PARTZSCH Group. A recently concluded framework agreement covers the development and production of electric machines with a power output of up to 4 MW. RENK will develop the machines, while PARTZSCH looks after their production.
For RENK, the cooperation means a strategic expansion of its production capabilities. By using existing production processes at PARTZSCH, machines will in future be able to go faster into series production – with shorter lead times and higher production depth.
The first planned joint project is the development and production of a generator for diesel engines in submarines. The first prototype is scheduled to be tested on the test rig at RENK’s location in Augsburg as early as the end of the year. In the long term, the focus of the collaboration will be on military and civilian applications.
“The collaboration with PARTZSCH allows us to significantly speed up our production processes. We can thus bring machines faster from the initial concept to series production,” said Sebastian Döring, Managing Director of RENK Magnet-Motor GmbH.
“We are especially excited about our innovative solutions now being combined with the technical expertise of RENK Magnet-Motor GmbH – a strong alliance for complex technical products and sustainable growth,” said Christian Partzsch, Managing Director of the PARTZSCH Group.
PARTZSCH, based in Saxony, specializes in the repair, service and manufacture of electric machines. Thanks to the available production capacities, large quantities can be produced efficiently and machines with high weight or large dimensions worked on.
