Test systems are technical devices that assess the performance of mechanical, electronic or mechatronic components in realistic conditions. The aim is to analyze how components behave under defined loads, for example with regard to performance, service life, efficiency, thermal stability or damage mechanisms. Different test benches and measuring methods are used depending on the application, for example for gearboxes, motors, bearings, axles or complete drive systems. Test systems play a central role in quality assurance during the development, prototyping and series production processes. They often include control technology, sensors, data recording and evaluation software.
