Augsburg, September 9, 2026 – RENK Group AG, a leading provider of propulsion solutions for the military and civilian sectors, is launching a sponsorship partnership with the Augsburg Panthers at the start of the 2026/27 season. It will give RENK a prominent presence in the future at the Curt Frenzel Stadium and in connection with the games.
As part of the partnership, RENK will be featured, among other things, with under-ice advertising behind both goals. In addition, at a selected home game, the company will appear as the sponsor on the Panthers’ jerseys.

RENK and the Augsburg Panthers also share a lot of history. RENK was founded in Augsburg in 1873. Just five years later, the Augsburg Ice Skating Club marked the beginning of Germany’s oldest ice sports club. Today, both names are synonymous with their home city far beyond the borders of Augsburg.
