Renk America (RAM) receive first prime contract with the United States Navy

Muskegon / Augsburg, November 11, 2023 – Renk America (RAM) is pleased to announce a historic milestone. We proudly unveil our very first prime contract with the United States Navy. This 4-year contract will ensure support of the original equipment manufacturer for the Littoral Combat Ships Freedom and Independence variant combining gears, splitter gears, and main reduction gears.

This success is lasting proof of our commitment. Our partnership with the U.S. Navy is an important milestone in the expansion of our naval and marine business in the United States. This contract underscores RENK America's commitment to supporting our nation's defense and security efforts while promoting technological advances that will shape the future of naval operations.

About the Contract: Our collaboration with the U.S. Navy will involve four years and work will be performed globally to enhance the efficiency, performance, and reliability of both Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) variants.
