Augsburg, October 16, 2023 – On the occasion of the first International Defense Industries Forum in Kiev, the Renk Group, a leading global manufacturer of mission-critical propulsion technologies for military land vehicles, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Ukraine Defense Industry (UDI) and is now also part of the newly created "Ukraine Defense Industry Compact".
Michael Masur, CEO Vehicle Mobility Solutions, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with UDI on behalf of the Renk Group to intensify cooperation in training, education and repair for the more than 1,000 vehicles using Renk products in Ukraine.
"With our signature, we are actively participating in supporting the Ukrainian defense industry. Together with our Ukrainian partners, we want to make our contribution to the liberation of Ukraine," said Michael Masur.
The aim of the memorandum of understanding with UDI is to support Ukraine, particularly with regard to training and education opportunities, spare parts supplies and maintenance and repair services.
The first International Defense Industries Forum was held in Kiev on September 29, 2023. In addition to the Renk Group, other leading companies from the security and defense industry from over 20 countries participated in this event.
