Our test rigs for helicopter gearboxes are generally available with mechanical or electrical power feedback. Test rigs with mechanical power feedback are usually less expensive and can be integrated in a smaller installation space. Also, more accurate performance data can often be realized for a specific application. On the other hand, an electrical circuit is usually easier to integrate and more flexible to apply to different DUTs. The type of power feedback in test rig design must therefore always be decided on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the respective test requirements.
