RENK transmission test rigs can also be used as powerpack test rigs.
In this case, RENK is not only responsible for the integration of the engine. Our powerpack test rigs also include the necessary supply of air and fuel for the diesel-powered engine and the disposal of the resulting exhaust gases. Future alternative engine designs can of course also be integrated on request.

Gear units in military use must perform absolutely reliably under special loads. For this reason, it is indispensable to simulate these loads realistically and reproducibly on the test rig. A perfect interaction of drive systems, measurement technology and test bench automation enables RENK gearbox test benches to simulate all desired driving conditions in the best possible way.
All current and future engine concepts can be integrated
For military vehicles, powerpacks with classic combustion engines are still most common today. However, on request we can of course also consider all other current or future drive concepts, such as gas or hydrogen drives, electric drives or mixed hybrid concepts.
Customized pallet system for fast test specimen replacement
Our test benches are generally modular in design and can be used for different transmissions with the appropriate adapter sets. We have developed a special pallet system for the test specimen mounting, which is precisely adapted to the customer's product range.
